Steps To Become A Web Designer.

In this COVID-19 pandemic where many sectors were crashed, the IT sector (Information Technologies ) was standing still. Even though it wasn't at it's best, as it also functions on demand and supply rule but as compared to other sectors it was in good condition. As people could do "WORK FROM HOME" with their systems.

So the conclusion is if you search for a better job option in your career, which is more stable at the same time you can do it from anywhere. Then welcome to the IT sector.

In the IT sector, there are various fields. But let's discuss web designing. If you are new to the code world you should know these things.

Get started

1. HTML: It's the structure of any website. We can understand it like a human body. Bones are the basic thing for a body to function properly. Without your body, you can't stand or do anything (Exclude few things like blinking 😅). The same case with HTML. It is the base of almost every technology.

2. CSS:  If HTML is like a skeleton, then CSS is the skin of your body. You can design your website as you want, with the help of CSS.

3. Javascript & Jquery: It's not mandatory to know about javascript and jquery deeply for web designing. But if you know this, then your work becomes much easier. Because it gives your code much more flexibility and functionality.

4. Bootstrap: Bootstrap is a free and open-source CSS framework. You can create a whole website with bootstrap. Now latest bootstrap library is bootstrap 5. But bootstrap 4 is a stable one so if you want to create a website, go with bootstrap 4.

5. After that what you need to know about is the code editors. Code editor can be understood as a simple editor that is required to edit your code. There are many code editors, but my personal favorite is VSCode. (My personal choice, you can choose anything).

After these steps when you can create a decent website, you become a web designer.

After you create a website then, you can move to other designing tools like,

1.  Photoshop (Used for creating or editing images).
2. Illustrator or Coral Draw (Used for creating vector images).
3.  XD or Figma (For creating a UI/UX of a website or mobile app).

When you master these technologies, then you add another feather to your cap. These are an extra set of skills. Those who don't know web designing and expert only in these designing tools are known as a graphic designer.  There is also scope for a graphic designer.

But Nowadays companies prefer those candidates who know web designing as well as graphic designing.

These skills are good enough for you to get a decent job. But if you think you want to go more further, then you can enter in any front-end technology. There are many front-end technologies like Angular, React, or Vue js. As I told you earlier HTML is the basic thing of any technology, these front-end technologies also have HTML base. Tags can be different but once you are familiar with them, it becomes easy to code. Front-end developers are in demand now. We can discuss it later,
For a newbie, this is enough. By enough, I don't mean you should stop at this point. I mean you should first learn this.
